My daughter was one of Mr Maxwells students and she respected him and even said that she probably would not have been able to graduate, had it not been for him.
What is happening to him is wrong.

This gentleman enriched the lives of many students. He shouldn’t be penalized for something that was beyond his control. My son and friends admired this individual and looked forward to attending his classes.

I had Mr. Maxwell when I went to Northwest. He was a very caring teacher and truly strived to help students make it to graduation. It’s a shame the school lost one of the good ones.

I never had Mr. Maxwell as a teacher in a subject, but I was involved with him during study hall and he was an amazing individual and fantastic teacher. More students went to him for advice and help when I was there than any other teacher I knew of. The Northwest students need this man more than anybody seems to realize. Students also need to learn about rape culture, or they will be prone and ignorant to its ever-present danger. Give this man his job back!

He has always been there to say it as it is. I have seen him so many times tell and support people in there rough times. And no matter what crime or position they were previously in he never judged he just helped them get back on track.

I feel that the school should back their teacher as long as he did everything should have. There is going to be offensive things in life and disturbing things get ready for it.
