The new University of Kentucky logo found in the center of the new commonwealth stadium, memorial coliseum and poastered all over campus looks ridiculous. It looks like some sort of blue cousin of the University of Houston's logo. The logo which has brought this university numerous championships over many sports for a number of years included a straight line branching from a powerful base instead of some crooked variation of the capital letter . If you agree that the University of Kentucky needs to change all existing logos back to the one that has brought big blue nation so much joy over the years, please sign this petition.

I really never thought this would blow up like it has but seeing everyone chime in about the old logo on my feed all day is honestly kind of overwhelming. It is surreal to realize so many people feel just as strongly as I do about that crooked design since it really does look like a bad imitation. We are actually getting some attention now so maybe those people in charge will finally notice how much we hate this new look.

Keep the old logo that clearly represents the school in a positive way as an academic leader.
Honestly it looks like a cheap knockoff. Nobody in Big Blue Nation wanted this change. Get rid of the broken K and bring back the real one.
The new K sucks
The "Broken-Arm"/"Sideways-Y" K is horrendous. Brink back the Power K.
The new logo is AWFUL
Change it back!
As an alumnus, I'm sad.

I grew up with the old logo shown in the pic. The old one was the UK logo I'm very used to seeing. I won't be buying any merchandise that has the new logo. It just looks awful, The U is already prominent in the old, why did they have to change it in the first place? If it ain't broke don't fix it!!!!!
