I'm just simply asking that I can select a group of songs and do a star rating from a right mouse click drop down. Why'd ya get rid of that simple option????

Thumbs down to the egg heads that want to take my input and change it for their own benefit. Music is not always simply put into up/down categories. Shame on Google for trying to control my opinion.

Many people spend many hours rating and ranking music to make playback a great user experience. Very disappointing to not have this option available. Couldn't have been that difficult to support, as many other services do. You are limiting future people to convert to your service from iTunes and others.

The people at Google who decided on this thumb down/up nonsense don't obviously listen to music and don't have their own playlist. They should be transferred to another service more low-level where they can happily deal with binary data.

Have to have more granularity than thumbs-up / thumbs-down. This simply isn't good enough to manage a library of over 15K songs.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring back the 5-Star Rating system

I am still trying to best work out exactly how to organize my music on google play music, and a five star rating is exactly what I was hoping to find, but I guess it was removed, please bring back if possible! thanks!

This is a must have feature. I cancelled my subscription until it is added back.

The up\down system was forced solely so that Google could further push itself as a subscription service where its crappy algorythm would feed you music you WOULD want to rate nothing but a thumbs-down. They'll probably even make it _social_, ewwwww.

I really missing the 5-star rating system from Play Music. This thumb up/down system is much worse. If Google wants to use it, then they should convert my stars real time for their usage. But for me, the stars are essential.

Removing the 5-star rating system with no warning, so I could have at least saved each star rating into a separate playlist, is a violation of my trust and is robbery of my personal time and energy spent rating my songs in a way meaningful to me.

in iTunes there is the option to choose between thumbs and 5 stars: why not here?
