Bring back the Google Music "5-Star" rating system

I agree so much with the statement about Music not being "binary" (granted unrated is like a third mode of ambiguous confusion)! My goodness I like to see my tastes grow or decrease for a song overtime and I like to create mixes based on how much I want to get into "it's okay" I seriously do NOT get this idea of having a up-or-down approach! So many famous content systems (e.g. Netflix) use rating systems. It seems like Google is saying "you are stupid and don't understand or want complexity"

Please bring back the functionality - an upgrade should add to the service, not take away from it.

To think that I can only rate music "Up," "Down," and "Nothing" is profoundly stupid. You've just made your service LESS useful to me. Thanks a lot.

It was a great tool for organizing Music!

While the 5 star ratings were never really leveraged in the platform I always hoped they were an indicator of future enhancements (e.g. smart playlists, or faceted filtering, etc). If this is the writing on the wall for any kind of future innovation then I suppose it is time to start evaluating other streaming services.

Come on, put the 5 star rating back on the options to give a vote to the songs you decide to listen

Why would you keep rubbish music. Ridiculous system, hope all the ratings are stored somewhere for when Google realise this was an awful decision!

The old design was so much more practical :/

Why is Google constantly changing everything that is good? was it so interfering with the work face? I just don't understand that decision

5 stars allowed for a 4/5 star highly-rated playlist. I used this all the time and had nearly 10,000 songs. 3 star songs that I didn't want to hear all the time but still not forget about were included in play music generated lists.

Please bring it back before I take my money elsewhere. Thanks.

5-star ratings are far more meaningful than thumbs up/down.

What the heck, google? I hope you still have all my ratings in a database somewhere...maybe you could have an option in the settings menu to reenable the 5-star rating system?

Now you only have the option of giving a song a 'thumbs up' or 'thumbs down'. Why would you keep music you didn't like? Thumbs down indeed.

New interface just awful. Desktop PC not a mobile phone. It's need normal desktop UI, not with album thumbnail with 1/3 size of display.
