Bring back the Google Music "5-Star" rating system

I agree that rating a song deserves the stars, just as I deserve to view the rating from 1-5 to help me chose. Thumbs up and thumbs down could be inaccurate for those of us who need more ratings, which I read and use whenever i am making a decision about my music..
Just bring it back. even alongside your thumbs, and see what we use. Cindy Neumann

Songs I have rated 2 stars in iTunes get a thumbs down and now wont play in google music shuffle mode. How stupid is that?

This must be Google's worst decision ever. Music is NOT black and white - it is emotional! Did you even ask your users before removing this feature? BRING BACK THE FIVE-STAR RATING SYSTEM!

Guess I'll have to buy an iphone purely to sync my music library because google play music won't be able to support my smart playlists based on stars.

my system for rating music is based on the 5 star system. when importing music into itunes I put everything at 2 stars as a base and then adjust as I listen to an album. now when I upload music to google play everything I havn't yet rated has a thumbs down. This thumbs nonsense has messed up my whole system!!

I really want the 5 start system to come back. I just ditched windows 10 and installed Linux on my personal laptop. I've found that Google Play is one of the few music managers that actually works well with Linux and across my other devices (Droid, other Windows PCs) For me, the five star system is used extensively for sorting playlists.

Agreed, ridiculous!! Already were forced to listen to music I'm ways that are not convenient nut taking away the rating system where I have 100, 000 songs... what the he'll is that!?!?
