The purpose of this petition is to draw attention to the startling lack of upper division biology classes being offered in the Fall of 2018 that will keep students from graduating on time. While there are many reasons why this may be affecting students, we feel that Azusa Pacific University's inability to provide an adequate number of courses for the Biology students is a betrayal of student trust. The financial sacrifices made by students and their families are a significant burden and deserve to be treated with urgency. Students deserve to have access to required courses, and the University's inability to provide these courses is a failure of the University to uphold their end of a financial transaction. The transaction involves students paying about $45,000 a year for services and an adequate education.

Seriously how am I supposed to graduate in May if the only class I need is always full or not even on the schedule? I cant afford to stick around for another semester just because the department didn't plan ahead.

I’ve sent so many emails about this to the department, they just said don’t panic. There is plenty of room to panic if you have to pay an extra semester of tuition for one class.
