The purpose of this petition is to draw attention to the startling lack of upper division biology classes being offered in the Fall of 2018 that will keep students from graduating on time. While there are many reasons why this may be affecting students, we feel that Azusa Pacific University's inability to provide an adequate number of courses for the Biology students is a betrayal of student trust. The financial sacrifices made by students and their families are a significant burden and deserve to be treated with urgency. Students deserve to have access to required courses, and the University's inability to provide these courses is a failure of the University to uphold their end of a financial transaction. The transaction involves students paying about $45,000 a year for services and an adequate education.
