Sam and June were the ultimate professionals. Great baristas with a kind word and warm smile. Why on God's earth would you get rid of your two best employees? Please bring them back.

The coffee is pretty basic there even with excellent baristas like Sam and June. I absolutely won't be spending money there until this travesty is rectified.

I am appalled by the way this company works.
“At Degani we aim to give our customers an unforgettable coffee experience every time. To ensure you always receive quality, consistent coffee, we only use 100% AA certified Arabica beans straight from the crop into your cup.”....you obviously supposedly treat the coffee beans with more reverence than the people!
Treat your people with the respect that they deserve.

Sam & June brightened up every morning. There was ALWAYS a buzz around the Latte Edition, everyone was talking and laughing with them and it was busy. I walked in this morning and no one was there and now I know why! Please bring them back!

A HUGE loss for News. Both were so personable, provided unarguably the best morning banter, and genuinely really passionate about their jobs and getting to know each and every one of us on a personal level. Morning coffee won't ever be the same. Might have to pop over the road from now on.

Everyday when you come to News Queensland, its these two, the DreamTeam, who greet you. Whether its your favourite breakfast, your lunch, your afternoon treat or your special coffee order- which by the way they know by heart, even if it is a Skinny latte with an equal and chocolate on top. Its this DreamTeam that are an oasis when you need to take a break. Smiling, friendly and ever so helpful.
Yes, they are barista's, they made fantastic coffee and they are valued team members. We are all shocked and saddened. We couldn't even say goodbye...

I was deeply shocked to hear the news of both June and Sam's departure this morning as I was on my way to deliver a personal gift of home baked goods. This is only one small example of the kind of customer service relationships June and Sam have both forged with their customers here at News. Please Please Please bring them back!

Degani got incredibly lucky the day they gave Sam and June jobs. In a world of surly hipster baristas they have kept us caffeinated with a smile. I think their (former) employer has badly misjudged the loyalty of News Corp staff towards two of the best.
Will be voting with my feet at Bowen Arrow until Degani do the right thing.

Extremely sad day at News Corp. With all the changes we have had in our catering supply, to have these 2 outstanding people and ambassadors depart without consultation or opportunity to say thank you and goodbye is a poor show. It appears there was no consultation with us or advise taken on our reaction to yet more change. News Corp places a high value on its employees, its a shame Degani don't follow our lead and value their staff as well. There are more coffee shops within walking distance, so we definatley have a voice and choice.
