Route 6 of the Big Blue Bus provides an essential mode of transportation to many Santa Monica College students. It is in the best interests of the community and the Big Blue Bus municipal operator to keep this route going and allow community college students to deliver the same level of academic merit without any hardships.
I really never thought this would reach so many people when I first started it. The momentum belongs entirely to the riders who stepped up to show why this route is so vital.

Many of us have used the big blue 6, Now the next generation needs it too. When fighting for funds, hitting where it hurts most is dispicable.

This bus is very useful to many students including myself who depend on it and to avoid over crowding other buses. Please bring this line back

As an Urban/Transportation Planner and recent alumni of both SMC and CSUN, the Route 6 serves as a vital single seat service between Culver and the Santa Monica College campuses. Cutting the service would create delays for students who would have to wait for other connecting Big Blue Bus routes. I urge the city of Santa Monica to keep this service running to provide a connection between Culver, Palms, Mar Vista and Santa Monica.

I've used the Big Blue Bus Route 6 several times, and my brother has as well. Without it, we lose a large chunk of transportation, which will be fircely fought over, like so. Bring it back!
