The latest jump in support has provided the leverage needed to request a formal meeting with the city planning office. I am currently drafting a letter to the parks department to present our position during their upcoming session.

I do Monitor my children and know where they are at all times...I have very good Kids and any that knows them Knows that and they would not do nothing they're not suppose to. However, When & What has been Vandalized? I have not seen it? I agree if they need to lock it/unlock daily would be good. Also, there should be a time of the morning & evening it should be locked/unlocked, agree totally with that, specially of the respect of the ones that live so close. But it does give the kids something to do and keep them off the roads and out of trouble.
I have lived in this town for almost 3 years now and that was the only place kids had to play now they have no where!
I also grew up on that court! It was the only thing we had to do in Buena vista! It's so sad they took this away from the kids an all the memory's everyone had from there! I bring my kids there everytime we r in town ! Beings back so many childhood memory's! I'm signing to bring it back so all these kids have something to do an can make memory's there also!
I'm one of the kids that go down there and play. I miss that park a lot now. The only thing all of us kids as is please give us are park back!
Bring the play ground back ...if you need help maintaining you should have a community meeting! Don't just take it away

I've played basket ball on that court since I was a little kid. Alot of my friends have too, that court is the only safe thing kids have to do down here. I know it may get alittle trash on the court, and around the place yes it may get alittle loud at times. But would you rather kids play in middle of highway 52, or on a playground. Me I prefer a playground because I don't like picking body parts off the highway had my fair share of that on are fire department. BRING BACK PLAYGROUND!!!
