Mr. Bastian is one of the best teachers that ACS has. So why would you get rid of him? The 10th graders have a Regents coming up and it's review season right now. Makes sense.

First off Mr.Bastian is an outstanding teacher, why would the thought of letting him go cross your minds? Is it because he is one of the many teachers that actually care about his students and is strict? So what these kids in this generation needs a role model and that's just what Robert Bastian is. If you decide to let him go it will be one bad mistake. How about letting go of the guidance counselor that misleads students on college and financial aid and other things?

Words could not possibly describe the impact he has had on me, not only as a student, but as a young professional, and as a person as a whole. It would be a shame to see such an incredible person go.

This man's positive and negative aspects greatly influenced the person I am today. All I can say is that it would be quite a mistake to keep this man from doing his job. Your school and students will suffer.

I have learned from Mr. Bastian not only how to excel in my global history class, but how to excel in any class. He wrote me a letter of recommendation about my character and it got me into the University of Notre Dame. I sign this to support a great teacher and not to bring negativity to ACS.

Mr Bastian cares about his students and their grades which is why he is strict. My favorite classes were always held with him because he pushed me and knew I could excel even with his strictness. It made me stronger going into college where professors really don't care if you even show up to class or not.. He always kept my class in line and held us to a high standard of excellence both in the classroom as well as on the soccer field leading us to an undefeated regular season as a great soccer coach. He truly cares about his students and wants the best for each and every one of them. Do your homework, pay attention in class and don't talk while he is all leads to success in his class. Thank you.
