I no longer live in the area anymore, but during the time I was a student at ACS, Mr. Bastian was always extremely passionate about his job and always had the support and respect of his colleagues. I would assume because he was an important part of the schools upbringing, history department, and also the time he took to help students and get involved with the extracurricular activities. Mr. Bastian is a great man. It would be a shame to lose him at ACS.

ACS isn't even ACS without Bobby B. It would be acceptable if he was to retire or something. You would need to have 3 or 4 men replace Mr Bastian at his worth. Hell of a man.

Mr. B was and still is an amazing teacher and person. He was one of the reasons I became a teacher. Teaching is not an easy profession, and the lack of respect and support is making it harder. Good luck Mr. B

Children need to learn to respect teachers. This would have never happened if the child repected and followed rules of the classroom.

When I started college to become a teacher with a concentration in history it was because Mr. Bastian actually got me to like and enjoy the subject. I never did get the teaching degree due to my interest changing but he is the reason why I still love the subject.
