We, the Idaho Steelheads fans, are painfully unhappy that Marty Flichel was not re- signed for the 2012 -2013 hockey season. We want him back on the ice, playing for the season and then want him properly retired, with all the ceremony due a man of his achievement and stature.

The front office has ignored us for too long but this surge of support proves that we are not going away quietly. It is time for the Steelheads management to listen to the fans who actually keep this team alive. Bring Marty back where he belongs.

What is management thinking? Seriously. You dont just push a guy like Marty out the door like that.
He deserves a proper send off. He gave us so many great years and memories. Bring him back immediately!!
Marty is the steelheads. This is a total joke not bringing him back for one last season. Get it done front office.
Brought my kids to games for years just to watch him play. He IS the idaho steelheads in my eyes. Fix this now.
