Kevin Lamour was LONG time game day DJ for the Soo Greyhounds. He put in a lot of hard work, and time for this job. We think the hardest part is pressing play, but it comes down to organization and curation, which he was fantastic at. He played the right songs or samples at the right time, he kept the atmosphere bumping, he was not only the DJ but also a fan. He had passion, and WE WANT HIM BACK
An article was released a while back, taking a jab at the organization and the typical game day experience and how it was boring. That was to management, for everything BUT the music..the only thing WE HAD that was GOOD was the music..now that's gone, gone to Kayne West, that drops F-bombs and racial slurs at a hockey game. HOW CLASSY.
We want Kevin back...and we want him back NOW!!!

The atmosphere at the rink has felt noticeably different since the recent changes to the game day production. I have heard from many of you who find the current song selection inappropriate and poorly suited for a family environment. We are preparing to present these concerns directly to management to emphasize that the previous standards were far superior.

I dont like how the new guy keeps faul lenguege in songs where kevin had them cut theres kids that dont need to learn that stuff at a young age BRING KEVIN BACK

Bring it back to where it was
I enjoyed Kevin's organ music. For years I've complIned about the loudness of the PA system. Most times you can't understand anything because volume is too high.
"Vulgar" music is NOT and SHOULD NOT be accepted at family oriented events, whether its hockey or any other event! Get rid of the new guy!!!!

I've complained about the volume for years but rarely about the selection of music...until now. I know the team pretty much selects the music for warm-ups but the in-game music has gone down the tubes without Kevin.
