Brought up by a father that had been in the military, taught me that we should have nothing but gratitude and respect for those that have layed their lives on the line for our country. This man is more respectable than most people I know. My daughter is heartbroken as this is the closest person in her life that has been ripped out without any notice or reasonable enough explanation. These cadets and students alike need this Marine. Please bring him back!

Ever since Freshman year this man had made it a point every morning to shake my hand and smile. I had a little misunderstanding with him earlier this year, but it did not get in the way of his respect for me. It just goes to show if you respect him, he'll respect you. Fight on, brother. I'm with you.

Salem high school has made a giant mistake with what they are doing to the LtCol. He is one of the schools best assets.

Why didn't Mr.Flynn get fired if they were both belly to belly?

I am Cadet Sergeant Schultz from the Beverly High MCJRTOC, and I firmly stand with the Lt. Col. Mark my words, this will NOT be his last Feeeeaaaast. My thoughts are with you, Salem MCJROTC.

As a retired Marine myself, I can completely understand how this LtCol is trying to make a difference. Civilians may not understand our tactics when it comes to instilling disciplines in young people, but it’s very effective. I am a very successful person today because of my service in the Marine Corps. This gentleman should continue his job with an apology from the school board. Semper Fi sir.
