When I heard that he was fired, I was super confused and mad because I never ever imagine him being fired because he’s such a nice person and a great teacher. He taught me a lot of stuffs I’ll never forget and I’ll always be thankful to him.

Lt Col Hunter is a great man who has changed many of our lives for the better, and has inspired many of us at Salem High School. It will truly be a shame if he is taken away from us.

Something needs to be done here. I dont know this man at all but i have read about this situation. He was injustifiably fired.

Lt Col Hunter has been a good instructor role model and person for SHS, ROTC , my son and other cadets and students. His firing was wrong. We ask for him to be allowed to return and work things out with the school. Yes. the students do need appropriate behavior and discipline.

I barely knew him but for as long as i had known him he has a good personality and helped kids out with any problems that they had and was very open to talking about issues

Hi Sir. Sorry to bother you this evening, I just want to let you know that you were the actually real teacher who actually lead me down the right Path no matter what you did you were always there for me! An I loved that! You were the most trustworthy person I've met in Rotc I think if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be here until this day! And I am so proud you leaded me in the right and great directions. When I was down you called me aside I enjoyed you're conversations you were there when we went to Ms. ramson my councilor An that made my day much better. I even enjoyed talking to you when I need to in the office of youres! I just want to say you are an awesome person and don't stop Believing in you're self! We all have you're back! ❤️

Knowing that Lt Col Hunter was in Charge at Salem High School gave me the piece of mind that my child would be in the hands of the finest of who the USMC has to offer, The world is a better place because of Lt Col Hunter, and the children of Salem High are the very best they can be because of Lt Col Hunter!
