He does amazing things for this program throughout many schools, not just Salem High. My daughter is a graduate of the program and worked along side Lt Col Hunter. It was an honor and a privilege.

Lt Col was honestly one of the two teachers I could trust throughout highschool. Him and the 1stSgt were the only teachers that taught me respect, integrity, responsibility, and what to expect once you graduate. They treat their students as if they were their own children. It's such a shame that this all happened, considering 1stSgt and the Lt Col were some of the only reasons Salem High was bearable, and actually good. I'm sure many students would say the same.

I go to Beverly High School and I'm in their ROTC program, but I've been really close with them since Freshman year. Colonel Hunter immediately made me feel like family and 4 years later I've remained close with them. During some of the worst times for me I knew I could always reach out to him and he always knew what to say to cheer me up. He will be a huge loss to your school if you do not reinstate him, he does so much for the kids around him and the community around him. All he did was his job

Poor choice to fire. Emboldened bad behavior among youth. If anything the assistant principal should be fired.

We should all back Lt.Col. Hunter, because of his service to Our country, and for what we stand. The problem with our kids now is people making excuses for them. If they are wrong, then they are wrong. Parents don't teach right and wrong to kids like they should, they make excuses. The kI'd was obviously wrong for wearing his hood inside, but he was most definitely wrong for talking back to an adult, or cursing at one. Come on people we are better than this, wrong is wrong and needs to be held accountable. Bring back Lt.Col. Hunter, and let him do what he does best.

Too bad the student is not a Marine. Outcome would be a better student.
