The Orioles recently fired long time broadcaster Jim Hunter. Jim had worked for the team for 24 years and put his heart and soul into his work. He deserves much better than what he got and should have his job back on the team.
I have spent the last few days reaching out to local sports journalists to ensure Jim's legacy with the team is not forgotten. His two decades of dedication to the broadcast booth deserve a response from the front office that we have yet to receive.

Seeing this level of support for Jim reminds me that he is more than just a voice in our booth because he is part of our community. This momentum proves that people still value the loyalty he gave us for decades.

As a long-time listener of Mr. Hunter’s work, he is invaluable to the Orioles. Mr. Hunter’s vast vocabulary, knowledge of baseball, and passion for the Orioles enhance every broadcast. Indeed, Mr. Hunter’s work brings pride and dignity to the club’s broadcasts, which makes them rise above all others.
Please allow Mr. Hunter to return to his job if he chooses to return to it.
Thank you

Someone who (devotes) puts there heart & soul into there work should be rewarded & not fired (let go). That's disrespectful, especially all them years. Makes you wonder why any body would do charity work or donate to there favorite charity in there community, if there going to get fired. Great game caller, bring Jim Hunter back.
