Jessie Powell, previous Rawlins-Carbon County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director was suddenly terminated from the position at the discretion of the chamber board. Jessie was awarded the "People's Choice" for 2016 one short week ago. Four days after the banquet she was asked to resign and five days later was terminated without reason. Jessie is the person for the job. She has brought a lot of attention to our valuable chamber, increased enrollment and made a name for the chamber in 9 short months. It was announced at the annual awards banquet that she was an asset to the Chamber. This announcement came from the chamber president. Sign my petition to bring Jessie back.

Everyone has their faults but why penalize someone who has done an awesome job for the community of rawlins and has brought in a good deal of new things for the town and does it with a smile on her face.... Keep up the good work Jessie
Jessie is a fantastic person who has brought a positive changes to the community. We need her back.
Jessie is an amazing person that brought so much good to Rawlins. I feel she she really raised the bar in promoting the city and the residents.
She sure seemed like an energetic and dedicated member of the community who was drawing positive attention to the county. This seems like a poor choice.
Jessie was very supportive this previous summer while I was fundraising. She actually cares about the people in this community. Please, bring her back!!

Thank you Jessie for all you've done for the community. Finally someone who cared for the community and breathed new life into the Chamber. I'm in shock this has happened, and hope whoever made this decision takes a good hard look at all you've done and all the people who appreciate you and wants you put back in the position you belong. Bring Jessie back!
