Hello all beautiful human beings!
A few weeks ago, my girlfriend and I were talking about our favorite childhood obsessions and the games we used to love playing when we were younger. Unfortunately, when I was explaining my love for a certain website, I couldn't remember the name, but I vividly recalled every detail it had to offer! It was the best game EVER and completely changed my perspective on fashion. So today, I decided to start researching the website to get back into it. When I typed in "Eboutique AOL games," GirlSense came up. Immediately, it all clicked! I COULDN'T CONTAIN MY EXCITEMENT—until I clicked on the URL link. To my utter disappointment, GIRLSENSE IS SHUT DOWN... WHAT!
I almost cried. Literally. It felt like my whole childhood had been thrown in the trash.
I kept researching why it wasn't active and found out it was because they couldn't keep up with sponsorships... THAT'S RIDICULOUS, WE ALL LOVE GIRLSENSE.
WE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER AS A TEAM TO BRING GIRLSENSE BACK! BIGGER & BETTER THAN EVER.
We need to RE-LIVE and pass on the impact it had on us to the next generation and beyond.
We need to show them how positively our lives revolved around GIRLSENSE.

Girlsense is the reason why I'm so creative now and why I became a graphic designer. I truly appreciate this website and even if it doesn't come back I hope the ceo ( cathy glazers ) knows she made a huge impact on our lives and we appreciate her for making our childhood amazing and filled with great memories.
Been missing this game for years. I used to be on it everyday,my boutique was called Butterfly Garden. Now I have a daughter that's 10 and wished for years that Girlsense would come back.
Girlsense was so fun and literally inspiring. I could never find a site like this again. You could make your own clothes, and even custom hair, food, and other things to sell in your boutique. I played this game for hours as a tween.
As a young boy, I feel like this game and many other games such as stardoll and fashionfantasygame really shaped me. They were my first introduction to fashion and really helped me explore my creative side, and the generation now deserves that same feeling. Games like this help to shape us.
This was my life. I remember being a "Pro" member and my boutique even made it on the home page once. I discovered my love for fashion and graphic design through playing this game.

This was the most influential game of my childhood, and THE reason I got into graphic design. So many people would pay money to keep it up, and there are so many more ways to manage the social aspect to keep it safe (which I think was a big part of it? Auction chats were wild)
