I use to play fuanasphere everyday, It was literally the best game i have ever played. I miss the game i was like 11 or 12 when it shut down and mum wouldnt let me stay home to see my favourite thing in the whole world end. I was so upset and tried finding everything to get it back even downloading viruses but i had no luck. I always had dreams that it came back and i would wake up to see that it wasn't true.

Loved this game. It's like an upgraded version of the breeding / pet sites you see. Its animated, cute, lets you design your own house, and its an MMO so you can hang with friends. I would LOVE to see this game get crowd funded or have a patreon to keep the servers and maitenance for it running!

Maybe faunasphere was too advanced for its time but now with all the games out there played online and for "free" I am not sure how they could say they don't make money with faunasphere when I know myself and several others who paid for the extras... There are so many similar format games now like Gummy Drop, Sir Match a Lot , that monster game, all those village games that interact with other players, that Faunasphere would fit right in with the times now. If they don't want to do it, why not sell it to another company or put it on disk as a game to purchase?? Anyway to bring it back! I have been spoiled for all games since faunasphere and look monthly to see if it is back!!! And this is 6 years later! And I am glad to see I am not alone! I really miss this game. When I was beta testing some games at Big Fish a few years ago, I pleaded for them to bring it back. I loved it so much. It would work really well as an iPad app.

If memory serves, the developers wanted the game to remain free to play, but they didn't see a way to cover the costs of running it that way. PLEASE, please reconsider...there are always alternatives. For example, we could have some players who pay and others who are free. We could fund through Patreon. There could be multiple levels of play including free and paid. We could call Jeff Bezos? :) I miss the variety in the gameplay so much...you could focus on building your world, breeding the Fauna, harvesting cooking and selling, there were sooo many levels to this game. First of all, I want to start off by saying, my apologies if my reply is unwanted or too long, and in that case, I will include a TL;DR (Too Long; Didn't Read) message at the end that you can scroll down to, as this is a few months-old comment, and some people dislike being pinged about something they might've left behind and forgotten about. It's not every day that I am reminded of Faunasphere's existence, sparking a new, hopeful interest in me to see if maybe, just maybe, there would be news on this (now) decade-ago game I've silently wished would return, in any way, shape, or form. Unfortunately not. At the time of Faunasphere's release, I was only five years old, and by the closure of the game on March 15th, 2011, I was seven years old. Now, at the time of writing this, I am fifteen years old. It has been one, very long decade, and yet I haven't found any game that could replicate or even come close to the quirky, fun, endearing style of Faunasphere. In hindsight, this game had a painfully—more like criminally—short run-time, and my memories of it are really only far and few between, I can barely remember what some of my Fauna looked like, even the ones that I spent hours breeding and finally got, with my father's help of course. It honestly hurts to realize that, even when my parents told me, "though the game may be gone, it'll always be with you in your thoughts,"—it isn't. I can barely remember any notable or discernible part of my experience that I can hold dear to me now. For those of you who had a jump start on me, and were able to play the game in your adolescent years, or even in adulthood, you may have had specific moments in time where you could remember an event, or some silly interaction you had with a friend, or visiting a friend's sphere.
