With the release of Joss Whedon's Avengers I was hoping could draw enough support to bring back one of his older shows, Firefly. If you look back at the series you have to wonder why the show was canceled in the first place. It was a truly a great western space cowboy SiFi show. If you haven't seen the show yet they have the complete series on Netflix. Once you start watching and you hit the conclusion of the series with the 14th episode you will feel cheated that the ride stops there. They released a movie continuing the story in 2005 but it left the door open for more of the story to be written and still leaves you longing for more. And now with Joss Whedon's work on the Avengers and everyone focusing on his work I believe now is the best chance for the show to make a comeback.
