Netflix picked up and produced new episodes of Arrested Development because of it's fanbase. Sarandos told Stuff.tv that Arrested was a special case, since its fanbase has grown "larger than the original broadcast audience" since the show ended in 2006.
Well it's time to show Sarandos, and the boys and girls at Neflix that us Browncoats have grown too.
If we pull our strength, there is nothing that us Browncoats cannot do. If we want another season of Firefly, lets show Netflix how bad we want it. Sign this petition and lets just show them how many people want to see Captain Mal back in everyone's favorite ship Serenity. This will not be the first time that us Browncoats have accomplished the impossible. And as the saying goes, that's what makes us mighty.

Five hundred people have signed and Ted Sarandos is already feeling the heat. Netflix thinks they can ignore us but they are dead wrong. We just proved that the Browncoats are not going anywhere.

Firefly is a very good series that provides a unique entertainment with a reflection on present day issues, much like Star Trek, without the melodrama. The show has merit and more value then most of the series that is posted on Netfix and fills a unique void.
The cancellation of Firefly is an unforgivable travesty. The person or persons that revive it will be lauded more than they can possibly imagine by a fan base that has grown exponentially in both size and dedication. Please bring back one of the greatest shows to ever grace the air waves. Thank you.
I realize there might be some casting issues here, but why not give it a shot? I'm not sure of the size of the fan base, but it is INCREDIBLY loyal. Note: I recently subscribed to Netflix explicitly to watch the original 14 Firefly episodes.
One of the top 10 best shows ever should be on Netflix more than the hundreds of drastically inferior shows on there right now should. As a Netflix subscriber, I find it incredibly frustrating that I pay money each month and can't find half the high-quality shows and movies that I want to watch.
Firefly was aired out of order the first time, causing low ratings. But it has developed a huge cult following since it's cancellation. Joss already has seven seasons written and planned out, this could be fantastic for Netflix.
Bring Back Firefly!!!! Considering your poor decisions in past this is a no brainer

This show means the world to a great number of people. We've become a community and a family because of this show and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for various charities. Please consider giving Firefly the chance it deserves.
