On July 28, 2015 Detroit morning radio lost a much loved personality. Allyson Martinek was one half of a very dynamic duo and made up "Blaine and Allyson in the Morning" on 96.3 WDVD. In a business where personalities change every five minutes, Allyson had just celebrated 20 years with the same station. The dynamic she and Blanie shared was unlike anything that any other radio morning show in the Detroit mark has had in a very long time. There are a lot of saddened and angry listeners over this move and I want to see if we can't bring her back.

i will not be listening to 96.3 without Allyson...sorry she made the show!!!!
without her the show is nothing, you need the two of them together. by himself no way, BIG, BIG, MISTAKE

I'm amazed at how truly sad I am about this. They have been with me every morning for years. I love Blaine but he NEEDS Allyson!! They were so perfect together.
