The radio airwaves feel hollow without her insight and I have spent my nights reading your messages about how much she helped you through your own struggles. It is exhausting to keep pushing when the station remains silent but walking away would mean accepting this blatant disrespect.

The momentum behind this effort has grown into something I honestly did not expect. It has been a long road and I am drained but the sight of so many people wanting the same thing keeps me going.

I grew up listening to her advice. Nobody else even comes close to her wisdom. Bring her back immediately.
Unreal. How do you just fire someone like that with no notice???
WOR really messed up this time. I am turning the dial and not coming back until she is back on air. such a shame.
Dr. Joy was the only reason I listened to the radio anymore. Getting let go without a word is just so disrespectful to her and all of us.
Typical corporate move. Trash the good shows and keep the boring stuff. We want Joy back.

BIG MISTAKE. She was a legend. WOR just lost a huge chunk of their audience.
