This petition is a list of students who feel that budget cuts are no excuse to remove the Dean of Students, Mr.Constantinople, from office. Without a kind and reasonable administrator to relate to, the students will feel even more hopelessly trapped and scared into obedience than we do now. This is also our school, and this can be our decision. We feel that by removing him from his post, the school will become even less of a friendly and kind atmosphere. Many rules and regulations already being put into place are unfair and unjust, but the removal of Mr.C will not only draw the line, but certain disruption and resistance will likely result. The dean of students is the only connection the student body can truly recognize as a branch between them as individuals and themselves as part of the Brien McMahon community.
