The scale of this feedback has successfully brought the issue to the attention of the GCCF Executive Council. I am currently coordinating a formal meeting with their representatives to present our specific requirements for breeder oversight. I will provide a summary of the outcomes from that discussion as soon as it concludes.

Ridiculous that this isnt a rule already. Please make it happen. My cats pedigree is part of his history and shouldnt just be messed with by someone else.
The breeder should always have the final say on the name of a cat they brought into the world. It is only fair to keep them in the loop.

Too many people changing registered names without asking. Disrespectful to the hard work breeders put in. Fix this.
