- As student nurses and future healthcare professionals, our mission is to provide holistic, patient-centered care to everyone — regardless of their background, language, or ability. However, one group that is often unintentionally excluded from effective communication is individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Every human being has equal rights to holistic care which can't be given when not all understand their needs. Incorporating sign language will really help to meet the health care needs of these physically challenged people.
I believe sign language will help nurses to communicate with patients who cannot hear or talk And it will also help in improving this profession thereby making nurses work under any situation.
By promoting sign language in healthcare, we can indeed improve patient care, reduce health disparities, and create a more inclusive environment for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals.

It is indeed necessary that sign language is added to the curriculum. I feel these people don't even get proper healthcare because how will they communicate?
