Great Yarmouth's Member of Parliament Brandon Lewis MP has declined an invitation from Great Yarmouth & District Trades Union Council to answer public questions at an open meeting despite making a pre-election pledge to hold public meetings and be accountable. By signing the petition you are calling on Brandon Lewis MP to honour his pre-election pledge and agree to answer questions at a public meeting organised by the Trades Council in 2013.
im still waiting on any response from the office but they are definitely seeing the notifications pile up. we need to keep pushing because accountability shouldnt be optional for an elected official.

im honestly blown away by how much this has grown recently. it feels like people are finally starting to demand the accountability we were promised.

Why is he so scared of a public meeting? If he has nothing to hide he should just show up and be honest about what is going on here.

He just hides when things get tough. We deserve better than a mp who refuses to face his own voters. Get out here and talk to us Brandon.

Disgraceful. Great Yarmouth needs someone who actually sticks to their word.

Total joke. He promised to be there for us but now he just dodges everything. Man up and face the people.
