Board management confirmed this morning that the funding for the additional permanent pickleball courts is approved. Construction schedules will be finalized during our follow-up meeting next week. We are monitoring the project timeline closely to ensure the conversion process proceeds as promised.

My Fellow Braemar CC Members,
We have waited long enough not only for PERMANENT but also for MORE Pickleball courts. This past weekend, we had 26 people wanting to play with only four courts available. The tennis department wants to help but there is only so much that they can do until the funding is approved. The time has come where we must band together, collect signatures, and let upper level management know how important this is to us. Otherwise, the chance of this happening in the near future, is slim to none. Please take a moment to SIGN THIS PETITION, LEAVE A COMMENT BELOW, AND SHARE WITH FAMILY MEMBERS AND OTHER MEMBERS who you think may be interested. I have compiled the feedback from our member base and am currently drafting a formal presentation for club management. This document outlines the capacity issues occurring on court weekends to ensure they understand the necessity of permanent infrastructure.

The current level of participation has prompted me to schedule a meeting with the club board to discuss funding models. I am drafting a formal proposal that outlines the demand for these courts to present during our session.

Big part of signing up was to play pickleball. There is no excuse for the waiting times when I see so many tennis courts unused.
We have been placated long enough. If it pertained to the golfers it would of happened already. Get it done!!
Pickleball is a very popular sport, in fact the fastest growing sport in America. Plenty of tourney's being televised. It's a very fun sport and easy to learn - all ages can play. Braemar needs to get more serious about expansion - it will bring in more players - who knows maybe have our new league play matches here !
This should have taken precedent over a 250,000 purchase of fitness equipment. Do the right thing and take care of the tennis members wishes as well.
Our family loves to play Pickleball at Braemar..BUT the popularity of the sport and the lack of commitment of the club to provide permanent courts..is disappointing. We need MORE courts and proper dedicated PERMANENT courts as quickly as possible. Thank you!
