To The Hon Chairman, Keane Dear Sir, In the most humble terms BPO Union requests you, on behalf of its many supporters, to reconsider the decision to sack 400 employees by your company - Keane. We do appreciate that commercial consideration(s) are a big force in many decisions that companies have to take. Yet there needs to be an element of empathy toward your employees. We request that either an appropriate severance package be given to the sacked employees or they be re-instated. We do not mean to tell your company how to run their business and in the same terms we shall not take a short deal for our peers in the Industry. We do hope that good sense shall prevail among your decision making team and you shall try to keep the unwanted at bay.
