I really never thought this would move beyond a few grumpy emails but looking at the momentum now is actually kind of wild. It just goes to show how much people care about having a space for the kids even if the council keeps acting like it doesn't matter (which it obviously does). Keep checking back because I am heading to the offices later to poke them again.

Keep the youth wing open. Its the only safe space around here for the teenagers to be after school.
this is bad news. the staff there do a great job and the kids really need them.
UNBELIEVABLE. They always find money for other things but cut the stuff that actually helps the community.
total joke. academy or not the kids still need a place to go.
My kids go here and they have nowhere else to hang out. This place is a lifeline for so many of them.

Please dont close it down they have worked so hard to build up that youth group.
