Hello friends! My name is Nick Borden-Sanford and I am running to be our 3L Class Vice President for the 2023-2024 school year.
Being a law student has been a dream come true in my hometown of Detroit. Over the years I have made incredible connections and lifelong friends at the law school. I have had the pleasure of being admitted into the JD/MBA program where each semester I have been both a business student and a law student. As a law student, I have the pleasure of being a member of the fantastic student organizations of the Black Law Students Association, Hispanics in Law Association, and Business Law Society.
When I am not in the classroom, I work as an asset manager for a real estate investment firm. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Michigan State University where I studied economics. As a student at MSU, I was a member of the Student Investment Association where I was my team's leader in pitching energy stocks to our university's investment fund. This position allowed me to use my critical thinking and research skills where I was able to present my ideas to our association's executive board.
With my experience, I believe that I will be an amazing leader for our class as 3L Vice President. I look forward to seeing my class in the courtroom someday. Thank you for your consideration. In the amazing words of Pedro Sanchez (Napoleon Dynamite), "Vote for me, and all of your wildest dreams will come true!"

The feedback I have received from my peers regarding our shared goals for the upcoming year has been both insightful and encouraging. I am currently preparing a formal outline of initiatives to present to the administration based on the concerns many of you have raised.
