We - the Citizens of Caledon - petition the Town of Caledon council to reject Canadian Tire Corporation's application to develop a 180 acre Canadian Tire distribution warehouse on the northwest corner of Healey Road and Coleraine Drive or anywhere else within the town of Caledon. The benefits of the operation of such a facility - to the town of Caledon and its Citizens - do not outweigh clear and massive environmental impacts. We urge our elected representatives on the Town of Caledon Council to promote and pursue more appropriate and 'greener' solutions for development of employment lands.
