The budget passed at the referendum without the proposed cuts. Our efforts ensured the Board of Education funding remains intact for the coming year. I am now transitioning to monitoring the implementation process to ensure these funds are allocated as intended.
We the undersigned Ridgefield taxpayers and/or voters support the Board of Education's budget of $80,063,314.00, a 2.9% increase, and request that this budget be put forward for vote at the annual budget referendum without any additional cuts.
The current level of support provides a clear mandate as I prepare to present our position to the Board of Finance. I have requested a formal meeting to discuss these findings and ensure the full budget proposal remains intact for the upcoming referendum.

My son graduates next year but I still want the younger kids to have what he had. Keep the funding up.

2.9 percent is a totally reasonable increase. Taxes go up on everything else so why are we acting like this is some massive shock
