For a few years now Robb Field skatepark has been free to the community. Skateboarders have finally found a place to go that will keep them away from the couch, drugs, and even gang affiliation. It is a wonderful source of exercise and dedication for those looking to make their favorite sport a career. Sounds pleasant eh? Well, what about the bmx riders who have to avoid getting tickets by the police and have all of their beloved dirt jumps torn down in every ditch, trail, and canyon because someone can't walk their dog through the trail anymore? Bmx riders at this park have been treated extremely well and have been welcome by all of the local skateboarders but treated like minorities by the SDPD. Bmx does "NO HARM" to anyone and keeps people from all ages out of trouble and gives them a way to get energy and excitement without the help of drugs! When we have spread it all throughout the San Diego bmx community, we will do everything we can to take these electronic signatures to the city and finally get BMX allowed in a free skatepark!
