Taking a prom away from grads is unthinkable and unfair. Do you not think bad things happen at other proms? Get a new location, try the confed center, up security, get parents to volunteer... why hold this grads responsible for past grads actions.... Bluefield staff is just taking the easy way out and being lAZY

Please do not take this away from the graduates. For most it is something these kids and families have been waiting 12 for and to take it away because of others bad choices is not fair

It is definitely not right to take away a special night from all students because of mishaps from other youths in the past. Senior Prom is a big deal. Its special moments and memories like these events we should NOT take away from our children. Do whatever it is that needs to be done for this ONE night... do the right thing and give back these memories for these students.

This is outrageous!! Because "a few" people caused Troy le dosent mean your other students should be punished! And maybe that means more adults "teachers" should be paying more attention to the students?

You shouldn't take away a night like prom from kids who haven't even had anything to do with the past events that have happened they deserve a chance to have a prom it's a once in a lifetime thing and you shouldn't take away something from the youths that weren't involved in someone else's mistake ! #savebluefeildprom2016

Prom was the one, if not only, thing I looked forward to my senior year at Bluefield. Most people look forward to it their entire lives, Bluefield taking away gives a bad name to not only the school but also the community. Please give back the prom.
