Even though Im a gr 11 student, Im signing this petition for my grade 12 friends who really deserve a prom for their effort. Prom is really rewarding when you put great effort into your year, so lets not take it away from them!

A huge tradition at Bluefield! Do not punish the grads because of others lack of judgement before them

You can't punish this years students because of what a few students last year did. This is just rediculous

As a Bluefield alumni I think by not having a prom puts a huge negative towards all the community. From experience I know prom is by far the most important day in all of the senior year and by taking it away is making all of this years seniors dreams come to a hault ,can not blame this years graduating class on a couple of people last year , especially when the principal is a Bluefield alumni as well and knows how much prom means

It's not fair to take away our prom, some of us were dreaming of this day the day we were born. Taking it away will just make us corrupt and not listen.

They want to teach us don't judge a book by its cover , they are judging kids this year base on last year.

You can't, and shouldn't change tradition. People are going to throw one somewheres anyways. At least if you had one organized, someone may not friggin die.

Cancelling prom is not going to change the outcome of what happened last year. If your concern is vandalism without consequence, then by all means host the prom at an earlier date. To take this away from your graduating students is shameful and unfair, not to mention completely unnecessary. I hope those who have made this decision realize how many students, parents, cousins, grand parents, and friends they are letting down. Prom is not just an event highly anticipated by those graduating, it is one in which the graduates family and friends look forward to as well. Thanks for the disappointment, Bluefield.

I used to live on pei but I moved to Alberta and my school isn't havjng a prom just because a few students don't want one and im so devistated. most students have been waiting their entire life to have a prom and I don't think it's fair not to have one just because of a couple students.

The negative actions of the few do not represent the many, simply put.

Not fair to punish the entire senior class for the wrongdoings of idiotic past students. This is harsh and immature solution to a community tradition lived by many.

the graduates of this year should not be punished for others previous behaviours. Ridiculous
