Absolutely ridiculous that prom has been cancelled. Why are these graduating students being punished for something that a few of last years graduates did?? It is totally unfair - there are alternative ways of getting the message across to avoid inappropriate behaviour at prom, or other protocols that could be implemented to ensure students are behaving appropriately.

After all their hard work & dedication through 12 years of school, these kids have earned their much deserved prom. Let them have their celebration! Good Luck Grads! :)

Blueberry Pancakes Yields 8 servings Cornbread is baked with blueberries in the batter, served for breakfast with syrup. 2 cups yellow cornmeal 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 tablespoon baking powder 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup cold butter, cut in small pieces 1 1/2 cups milk 3 large eggs 2 cups frozen blueberries, unthawed Butter bottom of 13x9x2-inch baking pan & preheat oven to 400°. Combine first 5 ingredients in food processor; process until blended. Cut in butter, using pulse, until mixture resembles coarse meal. Whisk together milk & eggs in large bowl. Stir meal mixture into the milk mixture. Stir in blueberries. Transfer batter to the prepared pan. Bake johnnycake batter for 25 minutes, or until a wooden pick or cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.. Cut into large squares & serve warm with maple syrup or blueberry syrup.

As a past bobcat myself, I am very disappointed to hear that grad class students of this year are suffering from the actions of students last year. Maybe the school board, parents and students can come to an agreement or an alternate plan such as a grad dinner instead of a dance.

This year's students aren't to be blamed for past mistakes. So if they don't have one this year do next year's students get one? If so that's not right !

this years graduating class should not be punished for the mistakes of the class before.

You do realize a lot of people already went out and made bookings and spent a lot of money. Not only by taking away their prom because of stupid people in the PAST you are taking a ways busness for local shops and punishing them for what they did NOT do.
