Enough already. No more expansion without the infrastructure to support it!

We need to make ALL roadways pedestrian friendly. Especially so when those pedestrians are children.

This is the second death of a child in the same location in the last 14 years. It's time to improve the safety for all involved.

This needs to be done now. It can't wait any longer, this road is getting too dangerous as it is.

This has needed to be addressed for a long time now. So sad something so tragic had to happen. Let's make sure this never happens again and improve the safety of Blue Mound Rd.

The blinking lights at Blue Mound and Basswood have caused several motor vehicle accidents. There needs to be a pedestrian crossing set up at thus light, as many students cross Blue Mound walking home. It is a dark corner and ore lighting g is definitely needed. The grass and weeds on each side of Blue Mound need to be kept mowed as many school kids have to walk on either side to go home from the high school.

Our children deserve to be safe. The tragedy of the child's death on Friday could have been prevented if our city had installed proper lighting , sidewalks, and designated crosswalks since the Highland Middle School was built. A boy from that middle school was also killed a few Years ago, crossing Blue Mound Rd. On his way to school.

Safety at and around all schools must be top priority. Our children are the future and we must care for them.

I've seen too many children in danger on this piece of road. With the new apartments and the number of children using the road, it is the only responsible choice. One death was one too many.
