Improvements have been needed and requested for several years due to the tremendous growth in our area. We are saddened to hear about the death of the young man. Improvements are needed quickly.

I have 4 girls two of which have graduated and two there now, This is a very dangerous road no matter what part your on, please get the crosswalk and lights done asap, last week I dropped my gurls off as I watched cars still drive 30 down basswood ignoring the flashing light..

Sadly this is not the first child fatality that has happened on this road, so improvements to Blue Mound cannot be put back any longer. They should be done immediately for the safety of the children and all people living in the communities nearby.

Please don't let more children have to walk home from school down blue mound in a ditch/grassy side of the road. Blue mound is a nightmare to drive down, don't endanger children too.

Get it done NOW!! And while you are at it open the road from Basswood to High Country trail so the buses don't have to navigate thru the neighborhood streets where kids walk to & from school too!

I am a resident of Blue Mound and I have seen kids run across fm 156 ever since Saginaw High School was built. This problem should have been addressed before the doors opened in August 2005.
