Blue Mound/Basswood Safety Improvements

How many kids need to get picked up in a gurney before something is done

It needs to be done asap it should have been done along time ago lights , walk path and all , we pay enough in taxes for this not To be done , so please consider all factors but #1 reason our kids !

This is around the corner from my work and a part of my commute everyday, there are always children walking here and it is very dangerous, it's shocking nothing has been done already and it takes a tragedy as this young man to get it fixed, I thought this is what taxes were for? Look to your citizenry and look out for their safety this area really needs improvement in a fast way

Improvements are long overdue

Can you please put sidewalks and lamps on that street because i came from the football game with his sister and me and my step cousin were walking home and we saw his cousin on the side of the road and we went to see what happened and when we got closer we saw Emmanuel on the floor bleeding and we wathched a 10 year old boy die in front of me

Long over due

Please fix a very dangerous road

Even one life is one to many. Please consider our chikdren who have to walk on the edge of Blue Mound Rd to school, to home or to the store. Do something to give them some protection. Thank you.

I was a student at Saginaw high school (graduated in 2008) and there were lots of student who walked to/from school every day and it was just as dangerous then as it is now! The kids need sidewalks and cross walks to assist with keeping them safe, especially with the high amount of traffic on blue mound rd.

This has been needed for over 10 years. I drive kids home alot just so they don't walk down this road.

I live right off blue mound road, I see kids walking down that grass every single day, kids running across the road every single day. This is unacceptable right near a school.

There also needs to be the same lights & side walks on Saginaw Main

Too many lives have been taken because of no proper lighting and no place for pedestrian to walk. Many students walk this every day!! Something needs to he done!!

I think that it would help the community to be safe by having more safety stuff like lights where people could walk without been worry about the cars coming fast.

Very unsafe road with kids having to walk to and from school on. They need sidewalks, more lighting, and better crosswalks.

I believe it should even be fixed north of Basswood. The intersection of Blue Mound and Grand Central Parkway. It is very hazardous trying to merge on Blue Mound Road in the mornings and afternoons.

We Need To Fix This Cause I Dont Need No More To Diee. It Hurts Me Right Now Not Having Him With Me.

This improvement is long overdue! Sidewalks are a must!
