Both blended and remote learners can switch midway through the day.

If you’re remote, you can come to the building for the first or second half of the day and the same goes for blended, choosing if you want to be at home for either half of the day.

Updates

February 17, 2021

I have spent this week drafting a formal proposal to present to the school board regarding the scheduling flexibility requested here. Additional documentation is being compiled to demonstrate how this shift would function for both student groups.

The volume of support has secured us a formal meeting with the district board representatives next week. I am currently finalizing the presentation that outlines how this flexible scheduling model can be implemented by the administration.

THEY NEED FLEXIBILITY. Stop making kids sit in front of a screen for 7 hours straight it is killing their motivation.

let the kids pick what works for them. remote learning is a joke for my daughter anyway so she needs the classroom time

My son is struggling so much with the full remote thing. Being able to just go in for the afternoon would help his grades a lot.

this makes sense for working parents who actually need to get stuff done. why is this so hard for the district to understand?

Government school is literally a minimum security prison for children, but if the students are going to be put through a system that doesn't actually educate them and only encouraged obedience and conformity.... Let them at least choose whether they go through it alone at home or in school with their friends.
