We want your support! LGI is planning to develop the open field at the end of Rayford Rd.
This development will include the replatting of an open space reserve into a landscaped entrance, green space reserve, 18 one-acre homesites and a site for a brand new fire station to serve the community.
This area currently doesn't have any trees and the land to the east will soon be clear cut for a high density subdivision by another developer and Townsen Rd. New trees will be planted along the back of the field to create a buffer and upfront to beautify the shoreline and Rayford Rd.
ESD#8 is ready to start on a fully staffed fire station, but the replat of this land must happen so the land can be deeded to the ESD.

Do not sign this petition. LGI destroyed the trees on this nature preserve in a previous attempt to replat the land so that they can sell more residential lots. Residents fought against this action and won. This field is slowly recovering from LGI's destructive actions. This is not a beautification project, but merely another attempt for them to sell more lots that so not exist.

Looks like someone has already cleared the comments, nice LGI. As commented yesterday, recommend not signing this petition. LGI is already in litigation with Benders Landing Estates related to Castle Court at BLE, they probably haven't even communicated that to the buyers of Castle Court, which is why the comment is now gone. But the firehouse can be built without replatting this to residential lots, if this were to get approved, it will most likely lead to more litigation with LGI.
