After much discussion citizens of Bladen County feel that a Wall of Honor should be created to honor our fallen emergency services heroes. There have been many dedicated citizens who have lost their lives or have given tremendous amounts of time and dedication to keep the Mother County safe.

I was looking at the old photos again this morning and thinking about how many people in Bladen County truly gave everything to keep us safe. It feels like we are just tapping into a conversation that should have happened a long time ago. People keep reaching out with stories I had never heard before and honestly sometimes it is just overwhelming in the best way.

Its heart breaking how these heroes get forgotten after a few years. A wall is the least we can do to show we havent forgotten them.

My uncle served for 20 years. He would be so proud to see his friends honored like this. Please do it.

Such a good idea. They dont get enough credit for what they face every single day. Let's make it happen

Long overdue. These men and women gave everything for us while we were sleeping safe in our beds. Put it up.
