We the undersigned wish to make clear our objections about the demolition of the black building in Kirkwall, Orkney. We feel this is a historic building, which despite 20 years ago being disgracefully vandalised in the name of business should be kept and not now removed completely in favour of housing.

Ridiculous. We dont need more ugly new housing when we have perfectly good historic buildings just sitting there rotting. SAVE IT!!

Kirkwall is losing all its character. Once its gone you cant get it back. Leave our history alone for once.
