I am campaigning for Black History to be introduced to the National Curriculam, so that Black History can therfore be taught within schools across the U.K. I am campainging on the behalf of pupils within schools who believe they are deprived of being taught Black History in their school. I also believe it is important that pupils should be able to express their veiws and opinions of any improvements that could be made to what is taught within their school, with the endeared support from teachers.
Inorder for my campaigne to be successful, I need 10,000 petitions. The 10,000 petitions are needed for our campaigne to be recognised by the Council and so they can have a full board meeting about Black History being introduced to the National Curriculam. If you are passionate about Black History and believe it should be introduced within schools, PLEASE sign my petition today and make a diffrence to our future. REMEMBER... our children are the future of our past.

The momentum behind this petition is undeniable and the Department for Education can no longer pretend we are going to go away. They have ignored our history for too long and now they are forced to see that we are coming for their curriculum.

It is imperative that we keep black history in our uk schools. This subject should be delivered in primary school. In order to give the next generation an accurate view of history as a whole.
its crazy that this isnt already part of the national curriculum. kids should be learning about everyone not just the same stuff year after year.
my daughter asked me why she doesnt learn about this in class and i honestly didnt have a good answer. lets get this fixed.
LONG OVERDUE. history needs to be honest or whats the point of teaching it?
needs to happen. tired of the same syllabus when the world is so much wider than what they show us in school.
