Multiple incidents from Summerfield pick up line for the middle school and children who decide to run across the road to get to a parent that is parked almost getting ran over. The other side of Bill Pickett is a much safer side for the dozens of parents who do not sit in pick up line, but the parking on Bill Picket should only be from Estes Park, West to Yellowstone Drive only.
The feedback from local families regarding the dangerous traffic patterns near the school has been consistent and alarming. My focus is currently on drafting a formal proposal for the transportation department to review the current zoning rules on Bill Pickett.

The level of engagement this petition has received underscores that the current traffic situation near the school is a shared concern. This momentum provides a strong foundation as I prepare to present our collective request to the local council.

It’s not safe for my 8th grader to walk home from the middle school everyday after school because of the people parked in our neighborhood for middle school pick up. She’s almost been hit more than once because people park too close to stop signs and NO PARKING signs. She can’t walk on the sidewalk all the way to our house on Wind Cave Drive because people block it when parking in their driveways, so the two things combined make it an accident waiting to happen.

multiple times kids have shot out from between cars, parents are parked on the shoulder and partially in the lanes. Perhaps parents could park in the parking lot by the baseball fields and leave through bill Pickett. too much thru traffic from the loop to have kids scattered out trying to get to their rides. life is about waiting in line, that's part of parenting. patience.

I’m signing this, but still feel like there shouldn’t be any parking there. These are bike lanes not parking spots.

I live on estes and at time I can Barely turn onto our street without worrying about hitting a child not watching or cars that can’t park or don’t pay attention and take off.

It’s only a matter of time before a child gets injured or killed due to poor parenting and irresponsible parking.

I’m afraid my daughter will be horribly injured because of lazy parents who can’t seem to make it through a school pick-up line!

For any school pick up it should not be in the neighborhood, should only be at school property

This needs to be addressed before someone's child is killed!!!!
