The current bus only has 16 seats which means there are children as young as 5 years old not getting a space. Some having to walk over 1 mile (30mins brisk) each way, to and from school everyday. Even a child with proven medical issues that are affected by walking this distance daily has been refused a place as the bus is full.

Winter is approaching and this walk is going to be impossible for these children and there parents in the icy weather.

Also North Lanarkshire Council declare there are "safe walking routes" tho I am still trying to find one which isn't ruined by broken glass or dog mess or is fully gritted in the winter.
