The Wifi quality in the MI building is unacceptable. Every day, Mathematik and Informatik students lose over a hundred cumulative work hours while waiting for their notebooks to connect to the lrz or eduroam networks. Even after connection, the Wifi connection often breaks, requiring additional time for reconnection. We, students of TUM, request the administration to implement improvements to the Wifi access in the MI building.

I have been hearing from so many of you about the constant connection drops during late night study sessions. It is clear that the frustration I felt is shared by almost everyone in the building and I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people have stepped up to acknowledge this problem.

it keeps dropping out every time i try to push my code to git. so frustrating.
currently it is not possible for all students to access e.g. in-class excercises at the same time during a lecture.
Blocking facebook, instagram, reddit, twitter, porn, etc. would free up a lot of bandwith.
There are at least 10 students streaming "my little pony" in the Magistrale right now. It would probably help, if that could be stopped.
I agree. The quality if eduroam in MI building is even worse than at the ubahn station. At least that one connects immediately
better wifi!

The signal in the lecture halls is basically non existent. Can barely load the pdfs for class.
