I find it difficult to see children struggling with ASD without proper support. We are supposed to help our children in any way that will set them up for their futures after they finish ther education bur of they don't get proper support when they are young, what chance do they have to survive in life? Street drug and alcohol in young people is already high, it will only get worse!!

Our children should not be made to suffer due to inadequacies made by adults and the system . We as adults have to speak up for children and stop

My son is severely autistic and to neglect these children is disgusting.

We have been waiting ages to even hear anything back about getting a diagnosis for one of my children, and now I am having to do it again for another of my children, but being put off by the fact that no one seems to know what is actually going on. These children are being failed, badly!

The services on the island are appalling. My child went on the waiting list 2 years ago. 18 months to get through filter panel then bam. Closed. No one is being told anything. No one is kept up to date. The whole service is a sham.

This island needs better support for our children and help for us parents to know how best to help our children.

I have one child who has a diagnosis and two children awaiting assessment. My 11 year old has been waiting 14 months and my 6 year olds been waiting 4 months and is at risk of permanent exclusion.

Many families have waited longer than 9 months, it really is awful when we know early intervention is key!
